We stayed here for over a week in a kitchenette unit. It was clean, well equipped, and comfortable and a great place to stay to explore the area. The staff was friendly and hospitable. We would love to stay there again.
I was forced to stay here. There were signs alllll the way up the highway promising the border hours were 8am to 8pm. But those lazy ragamuffins had a different sign on the actual border gates belatedly notifying me that the hours were in fact only till 4pm. With limited options I cast my gaze upon the box canyon resort motel to shelter my weary bones for 12 hours. Now - despite the picturesque scenery and friendly locals, I would hazard a guess that many of my fellow residents are here at the BCRM out of necessity rather than choice - so with that said I have no idea why the staff are so friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean as a whistle, and they even let me plug in my car. I solemnly vow, on bended knee, that I will fiercely defend the honour of this fine establishment with my life if I must. I will be watching the reviews of this hotel closely. If I see anything other than 5 star reviews I will find you. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but someday you’ll hear a rasping breath at your door, followed by a heavy knock. 5 star reviews only. BCRM for ever.
Wanna say that the owner answered my text immediately when I ran out of daylight on my bike. Very happy with the convenience and very clean. Bed was supportive. Solid sleep and woke up to great view. Thanks again. Drew
Please, stay here! Don't get deluded by how inexpensive it is. We got the two-room suite with a full kitchen, plenty of dishes, full size fridge, etc, etc. Everything is immaculate, with new carpets, amazing bedding, super clean bathrooms. Right by the river, peaceful and silent. Incredible place, incredible deal. You will not regret staying here
Very nice people and hospitable. We stayed there for 2 nights for the 2021 bassin' assassin tournament. Time are clean and cozy, bed was comfortable. Beautiful view of river. Can't wait till next year gonna try to get a room here again. Thankyou for the lovely stay.
GREAT stay; not fancy, but CLEAN, very clean and quiet. Very impressed. The beds were NOT CHEAP "motel beds, but fitted and dressed like you would have in your home! Thanks for a pure surprise; much appreciated. Even the bathrooms and plumbing is updated, bright and CLEAN. Gee! Can't remember when I had a good rest with such a perfect "get-a-way!"
Quiet and clean, this is a beautiful escape right on the river. Perfect get away for a night or several while exploring the area. Don't miss the waterfall just north at sweet creek rest area.
The rooms are beautiful. The view is to die for. First night was so peaceful. Tonite the night manager is throwing a loud party with a bunch of kid's so not so great. But, all in all just a beautiful, relaxing place. We highly recommend this lil piece of heaven.
